Our services include: - Translation: coordination, in-game text, manuals, scripts - Testing: localization testing, functionality testing, compliance testing - Audio: pre-/post-production, multilingual voiceovers - DTP: text-flow, layout, font management - Creative media: including demos, trailers and advertising materials Position Overview: Anakan is currently seeking an Audio Intern. The internship covers all aspects of audio localization post-production, as well as giving the intern the chance to sit in on recording sessions and learn from experienced engineers. The intern will also have the opportunity to gain experience in a real studio environment. Based on his or her skills and abilities, the intern will begin to assist with recording sessions and may start running solo sessions, as well. This internship is suitable for individuals who are considering a career in audio engineering and are interested in learning more about the field. Responsibilities: - Pre- and Post-production for game audio localization - Participating in recording sessions General studio assistance including: - Editing Pro Tools sessions - CD/DVD duplication - Data management - Ftp up/downloads - Filing, archiving, setting up and breaking down of sessions as well as other responsibilities as needed - General studio maintenance - Database management Requirements: - The intern should be a music or audio engineering major - Knowledge of studio equipment and an understanding of computer file and folder hierarchy is a must - A good understanding of music and digital audio theory is extremely important - Experience with audio software such as Digidesign Pro Tools preferred - Strong verbal and written skills in German (native speaker or fluent) and English The internship may be held on a full-time basis and is available short term (4 to 6 months).
